Tigre Delta Tour

No one should leave Buenos Aires without visiting this amazing place!. Located only 35 km/21 miles from Buenos Aires downtown, Tigre Delta is one of the largest deltas in the world. Formed for more than 5000 islands inhabited by a water community, where you can discover a different face of Buenos Aires. The town of Tigre is the starting point for a visit to the Paraná Delta. Locals have escaped to this quiet area away from the fast pace of Buenos Aires for decades. Just a short distance from the city, this place, plenty of nature, is a completely different experience. Don´t miss it!!

We can do the tour using our private boats (we suggest this option because it allows us to move at our own rhythm and to visit places outside of the beaten tracks), but if you prefer, we can use the public boat (it is recommended if you have mobility issues).

Tigre Delta Half Day (4 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel or cruise terminal by private car (or van depending on the size of your group), the tour guide will take you to Tigre City. Once there you will visit the city and the famous “Puerto de Frutos” (Fruit port), an old market, by the side of the river opened 60 years ago by a group of inhabitants of the delta, where they sail their products.

Then your tour guide takes you to a private marina, where you switch the car for a motor boat (because it is the only way to go inside the Delta), sailing by this fantastic place for one hour, always outside of the beaten tracks. Our boat is private, just for you and your family/friends.

Tigre Delta Full Day (7 Hours)

After picking you up we drive towards north, visiting the northern areas of Buenos Aires, exploring the colonial district of San Isidro, Tigre City and Puerto de Frutos. Getting a private motorboat and sailing by different quiet rivers and streams, you have the option to stop in a lovely restaurant on one of the islands and to have lunch in a deck by the side of the river.
